Photography: Autumn at Aullwood

The beauty of autumn is incomparable at Marie Aull's home. We will explore the historic grounds and learn how to record them with photographer Michelle Burdine. A wonderful class for all skill levels! We'll meet at the Wegerzyn parking lot and go in vans to Aullwood. Reservations are requested and walk-ins are welcome. Call 277-6545.

Take Charge of your Camera!
Photographer Adam Alonzo conducts this information 4-part class. This series is especially designed for people using a digital camera with some manual controls, but everyone is welcome. Learn how your camera evaluates light, the reasons your pictures come out blurry, how to frame a shot while shooting, and how to critique your work.
Controlling the Image: Garden Photography
Whether it is a beautiful flower or a close up of your child, getting the photograph you want can be quite challenging. In this beginner workshop, Focus Photo Club members discuss how basic factors affect your photographs.
Photos that Wow with Adobe Photoshop
Learn the basics of utilizing Adobe Photoshop software to enhance and edit your photographs. Nancy Roach and the Focus Photo Club will discuss how to make your photographs look professional.
News
The 2008 Photo Contest for the Little Miami River Watershed is now open! Photos involving water of some form taken within the Little Miami River watershed can be submitted. The end of the contest will be October 31st, 2008; over $1,200 in prizes and 2009 gallery displays will be awarded to winning photos! Last year's contest winners had their photos displayed in the North Gallery of the Cincinnati Museum Center’s Natural History Museum as well as the the Dayton Art Institute’s gallery. An estimated 30,000 people saw the exhibits.
